    Last year, I signed up for a course at this University but I dropped out through a school representative who sent me an email confirming that the course would be dropped.Instead, months later, I was charged for the course and for a covid cash assistance which was deposited in my account after I had dropped the course. I returned the cash assistance and received an apology from the University for charging me for a course I had already dropped out.However, they sent my name to a collection agency called MLR even though I don't owe anything to the school. I am absolutely outraged with this because I have a perfect credit score and this is going to affect it.I urge you to help me sort this out. This university is disorganized and irresponsible. They need to erase this debit and stop harassing me.

    To whom it may concern,
    The student account was mistakenly sent to an outside collections agency with a zero balance. The account has since been closed with the collections company and there has been no negative reporting made to the credit bureaus. We notified the student of this immediately.
