CHBriggs Company sells quartz slabs for countertops. My business purchased 7 slabs for installation in a kitchen project. CHBriggs delivered the wrong slabs and was unable to send corrected slabs. The homeowner would not pay my company full price and CHBriggs would not accept the lower price I received from my customer even though they owed me money from a prior return. I paid them one half and requested to pay the remainder in monthly installments. CHBriggs would not accept monthly payments without very high finance charges. We have been paying them, but they reported me and the business to the credit reporting company. CHBriggs has acted in bad faith and caused me to have bad credit.

    To whom this may concern,

In response to the mistake on C.H.Briggs part, and review of the account, a replacement of the wrong material was sent and the initial charge was credited back to ******* * ****** **********.  The account with ******* * ****** ********** has not received a payment since December 2021.  If the replacement material was not acceptable, it should have been returned prior to installation for a refund, but that was not the case.  A payment arrangement was offered and was not accepted by ******* * ****** ********** and after attempts to collect on C.H. Briggs part, the account was sent to our 3rd party collection agency, *** for further collection attempts.
