      When trying to cancel my subscription they would not give me a refund. Did not give any notice when the bill was due for automatic charge. The newspaper has also changed so much with only one point of view.

      was getting 7 day paper for over 40 years. carriers where all great. but this new company is running the business into ground, from all the reviews i'm seeing. i received my normal bill, paid it along with a note to cancel my subscription. paper was still being delivered, received 2 more bills sent each back with only a note to cancel my subscription, no response from them, paper still being delivered. 10/11/22 called customer service was transferred to accounts receivable [S], explained this to him, he said they don't except cancelations that way, must call by phone, ok.
      cancel weekly & just give my Sundays, ok with both of us. he said bill would be $82.36,OK SEND ME THE BILL. 10/18/22 I get a call from someone else saying I'm past-do for $90.?? told him my bill
      is $82.36 per [S] this person said he sees that & if I pay it right away he can give me a deal. I told him I'll pay it when I see a bill. 10/25/22 still NO bill. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY LIKE THIS WITH A CARD, I'm glad I don't.

      Been a customer forever. Canceled in August 2022. Sept. 1 they took my monthly fee. My subscription ended Sept. 3. I called about taking another months fee. They said I would be refunded. 5 weeks later I called. No refunds. Close any auto pays or cards you have affiliated to them before canceling. Bunch of thieves.

      I called to complain to customer service that the Reading Eagle kept trying to charge an old credit card and the transactions were not going through. I asked them to cancel my subscription and the man refused to accept my reply "no". He kept trying to get me to say yes to a different plan and when I finally said, "no, there is nothing you could do to get me to keep a subscription with a company that didn't have the decency to inform me that my subscription was due for renewal and just kept trying to place charges on my card." he said that will be $3.00 to close your account or we will send this to collections. I said I am not giving you my new credit card, so I guess it's going to collections. Beware! this is not the same Eagle company from years ago. They could care less.
