This "contractor" was hired to renovate our entire first floor of our home including gutting the kitchen/bathroom, installing new plumbing, removing a load bearing wall and installing an architect designed support beam, removing all flooring. Our entire first floor and basement were impacted.Of the minor updates which were made and abandoned in 8 weeks time to our home, they all failed inspection. We are without a kitchen for 11 weeks now. We were without a shower for 7 weeks and without a toilet (we only have 1 toilet/shower) for a week. When the contractor failed all the permit inspections on 24Feb2025, he abandoned our project, taking with him $49,000 in deposits for expensive inventory including but not limited to, kitchen cabinets, quartz countertops, etc. We have sent a certified letter to his house requesting refund with no reply. We are not the first ******** that this has happened to. The entire scope of work from *** has to be gutted and recompleted at significant addition cost to us. No items have been returned to the homeowners indicated as being "purchased" by ***. We have consulted with the vendors who confirmed no orders were ever placed for our project through ***. Request for a full refund with additional $6,000 for damages to property requiring rework, to a total of $55,000.The owner is full of excuses, as you can see from other complaints, and his lack of accountability in response to this complaint should be taken with a grain of salt.

Customer had scheduled an inspection for February 24, 2025 without **** permission. *** was not ready for any inspection. *** was not able to proceed till results were in from the inspection which customer had since February 27, 2025 she chose to withhold results till. March 18, 2025 Customer purposely held onto the results so she can say that JDM abandon the job. Contractor must wait for the results of an inspection to move on and she knew that customer keeps stating that inspection was failed. One is not illegal to fill an inspection that is very common two the inspection wasnt for plumbing and framing which clearly states on the inspection it was only four electrical and Inspector notice certain things wrong with the other things, but did not state failed or pass on the inspection because he was not there for that attached will be all the proof of work that was done to inspection and inspection report that clearly states it was only for electrical. Also, attached is the contract that nowhere says at what time materials will be purchased at what payment payments given because that was the payment schedule after rough ins she was to give another
contractor never walked from job. He was not informed when he can return to continue work because he never received the inspection paperwork till after Customers complaints customer had contractors remorse and wanted to get rid of us, but not due to any illegal activity.

Business owner, ***********************, is dishonest his word is complete BS. The bathroom tile (5/26-27/2023) was a total hot mess (photos available). He ripped them down and pulled drywall off. He left it that way, took my $4K+ down-payment, and never came back or returned my calls. BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING HE SAYS!
