    Dun-Rite quoted my father (**** ****) a figure ******* to complete siding on rear of house and replace patio roof. They attached the roof to the top of the 2x6's instead of in between them, the 2x6's toward the back of the house are split due to the incorrect nailing, this part is also attached to the top of 2x6's instead of between, not sure if siding is nailed tight. My father called the business back, they came out and told my father he was nit-picking and that he should be more or less thankful because they gave him 2 2x6's for under the steel roof, even though the ends that are attached to the house are split due to their workmanship. My father is 85 years old, taken advantage of and being ridiculed whe he called them out for their poor workmanship and make right what wasn't Dun-Rite! He deserves some if his money back. He does not want this company returning to his home any more.

    Good morning!

    Mr. *********** contacted my Dad,  I want all correspondence to go through myself as he clearly has taken advantage of my father and treats him like he was doing him a favor.  He, again, reiterated about giving him two 2x6's and did not charge him for it.  That makes me laugh. The 2x6's are cracked where they pounded nails anyway. They are no good. He did not address anything else that was stated and my Dad does not want him at his home anymore.  I don't think anyone would when the person you hire tries to ridicule you. I expressed that my father wants compensated for some of this poor work and expressed the work items that were done poorly.  Please advise.
