In April,2022, I requested a quote from Serenity Tree Service to cut down 4 trees on my property in *********. An oak tree, a maple tree, and 2 dying evergreen trees. The quote was 1,000 for all 4 trees. On April 23, worker showed up on the property to cut the oak tree which was $600. After making several cuts, he said his chain saw was not working and he would have to come back to finish the job. As is a habit of mine, I paid him the entire $600 at that time. After that, he had a reason why he couldn’t finish weekend after weekend. My wife and I went on a 2-week vacation starting May 28. I asked my daughter to go up that weekend to see if the tree guy was working. He was not. I then got in touch with my neighbor in ********* and he said the tree guy was there the following weekend and that our neighbor “took care of it”. When I got home, nothing more was done to the tree. I tried calling this company numerous times with no response. The last time I called, the owner ****** ** *** *** ********** ****** **** if I continued calling him. I have not heard from him since. He took my money and never did the job. It was a gentleman’s agreement with no contract. I would like to get some of my money back. He was only on the job 2 hours. And I would like to warn others of his unscrupulous business practices. Thank you.
