    I have attempted to cancel membership with this fitness club multiple times. There are 2 options for cancellation; in person at the gym or email. This gym has not been staffed for months. I have gone to the website in an attempt to contact them via email only to be told that my information can not be found. I have called the number listed but never speak to a live person and am never given an option for cancellation. I have since moved back home to ****************. I am now being called by a debt collector. I have attempted to do the right thing. I am now acruing late fees and possible collection fees.

    I have been a member since August 31, 2020. According to the contractual agreement, I have been able to cancel my membership as of September 27, 2023. However, despite numerous attempts, I have not been granted cancellation of my membership and Anytime Fitness continues to withdraw money from my bank account. I want my membership cancelled and to be refunded the amount taken out of my checking account after September 27, 2023.

    In February 2024, I contacted Anytime Fitness regarding a cancellation of my memberships. I was assured that they would be cancelled. It is impossible to contact this business as they use a third party call answering service. Finally was able to speak to someone via email who assured me that the membership would be cancelled. I was billed for March and the person claiming to have taken care of this forgot. The person claimed to have taken care of this and processed refunds. Confirmatory documentation was sent. It is May 2 and we have not received refunds. Complete lack of communication
