On 9/7/23 we picked up our vehicle after being serviced. The vehicle had to be towed to the repair shop and wasn't drivable. We asked them to look it over and let us know what it needed to be fixed. We were told that it needed a rear differential and cv axel for an approximate cost of $1500. We told them to complete the work. After picking the vehicle up, we drove it back to our house approximately 5 miles away. The car then sat in our driveway until 9/12 when my husband drove it to my daughters college, about 75 miles. At this point the car was already making noises again so it was towed to another shop (Threshold Tires and Auto Repair). This is when we were informed that the car had severe rust on the subframe which was causing there to be a lot of movement and ultimately what our issue had been all along. The parts that we had just paid to replace less then 85 miles were also broken because the root issue had not been addressed. The Threshold shop provided pictures and videos proving these claims, and suggested that I call Sarver Auto to discuss with them what had happened, so I did. I also provided them with the pictures and videos that had been provided to me. The owner, Josh or Jason I believe, at first stated that he would have to think about it but may offer me a partial refund. Later that day he called back and said that after watching the video he did not believe that that is what caused the issue and had so many excuses of what it could be that it was hard to keep up. He even tried to claim that the other garage put the hole in the subframe. Even after asking him point blank how the parts he just replaced could already be broken he responded, ya I'd like to know that too.
