  We recently hired ***, to do some repairs on our deck, he was able to replace the bottom two levels of our staircase and a few posts as the wood had rotted away due do neglect from the previous owner. His repair was top notch, Very friendly and courteous contractor. When we requested additional work, he was able to accommodate. If I need future work on the house I will be sure to work with *** again.

  I needed to do major renovations in my house but I was nervous since you hear about so many bad contractors out there. I saw Turas Lorg on the BBB so I decided to go with ***. We started with a major kitchen renovation and he installed my new cabinets beautifully. He was patient and went over every step of the construction experience until I was clear what was involved. He was really great with communication and answered all of my questions. The cabinets were delayed coming in from ********** and he kept in touch until the new cabinets, and countertops were installed.I wanted to open up the space between the kitchen and living area but I still wanted doors so he recommended we install french doors. I loved the idea of more light so we ordered them and he installed it. It wasn't until after he left that I noticed they looked a little uneven with the flooring so I called *** in a panic. We made an appointment for the next day and he made some minor adjustments to the hinges and I was completely satisfied. I'm grateful for the Better Business Bureau as a resource and plan to use Turas Lorg again when I have renovation needs. ******

  *** did a very nice job of fixing parts of the deck where some floor boards were coming lose and adding screws to the flooring for improved stability. Then he completed the job with two coatings. He kept us informed of the progress, worked independently and also cleaned up and replaced deck furniture. Great job!Highly recommend!

  Tim and his staff remodeled our kitchen and adjacent half bathroom in the Fall of 2022 and we have been loving it ever since! Tim is very knowledgeable and experienced, and to our liking, did not have to outsource plumbing or electrical work. Tim's staff began with total demolition of our kitchen and then removed a non-load bearing wall and expanded our kitchen! They installed lighting and did electrical work, and then put up walls, moved plumbing lines, put down porcelain tile flooring, installed cabinets, installed an island with a quartz countertop and under-mount sink and faucet, and installed another countertop. In addition to installing tile backsplash and a range hood. Tim began with a clear contract and was very transparent every step of the way and when it came to pricing and billing, and he left my wife and I to make any of the purchases on our own if we liked, which we did. Tim is professional in his work, and his goal is to satisfy customers as to how they would like their project (meaning, you can customize your project because of their extensive how-to knowledge). I will try and post pictures if I can. Thank you again, Tim.

  Terrible workmanship, excuse after excuse, always behind on project, workers quit halfway through the job. I spent over $60K for basement finishing job. Every wall is not plumb, no corners are square. The framing is not correct. Shame on me for not doing this job with permits and inspections. Do not allow this company to work in your home. I spent more time and money fixing their shorty work than I want to admit.

  I'm very surprised by this review. The former client is correct about the loss of two key workers primarily assigned to his job. That was a major setback for our small company. But I respectfully disagree with his comments about "terrible workmanship". His job ended in the late summer/early fall of 2022. Four months have passed yet he has never reached out to me regarding this concern. During the course of the project I was always attentive and receptive to any of his input. I felt our communication was always very good.

  Surprised? Me too, especially since one of those Key Workers is still listed/shown on your website. Did he really quit? Or was that just a tactic to pull/out get me to release you from a project you were in over your head? I haven’t contacted you over these 4 months because I’m e been spending my time and more money, fixing my home and you know you didn’t finish the job. Besides what good would another conversation have done? Most of the issues I pointed out to you were not properly fixed after we spoke about them repeatedly. You know how to reach me, if you are genuinely interested in making this right, otherwise, I stand behind my review.

  Yes, in fact I was, and still am, surprised by this client’s review. For the record I did lose two workers at the end of June, 2022. There’s no “ploys”. The job was ended by mutual agreement. My impression was it ended amicably. I have not heard anything from the client in four months. I don’t understand the somewhat adversarial nature of his comments.
