    I cancelled my service with ************************* because they weren't picking up trash and recycling weekly as per contract. This was first week of July 2023. They took the quarterly amount anyway. I called them four times between July 6 and Sept 5 2023 and each time they said they were very busy but I'd get a refund. I still have not received any money. I am tired of waiting.

    Waste Connections recently purchased my trash removal provider, ***********************, **** I paid my quarterly fee on July 9, 2023 ($110.36) for twice a week trash removal (Tuesday & Friday).  Since paying the bill the company, which still operates under the ************* **** name, has only picked up my trash on 2 occassions. I have called, been put on hold for approximately 30 minutes, then directed to leave messages that are not returned. I have reported the missed pickups on their website and by email. I have only received an automated response that my message was received and someone will respond, but have receved no response. I have also attempted to notify them I am cancelling their service as of the first week of September so I can receive a refund and allow them to pick up their trashcan. Also no response. Trash is sitting and rotting in front of my house. I would like them to fulfill their obligations until the first week of September or issue me a refund if they are not going to perform the service they accepted payment for.

       The company has finally responded to my request to cancel service, but is not refunding my money.  At this point I see no further need for BBB to be involved as it seems they company is ignoring you as well as its customers.  Thank you for your efforts on my behalf.

    Waste Connections bought *********************** two weeks ago and our development has been suffering ever since. Our trash and recycling pickup day is Monday. Last week, trash was on the street until Wednesday. This week, it is Thursday and trash has still not been picked up. Many calls and messages have gone unanswered by both residents and our property management company. A quick internet search reveals that Waste Connections has done the same thing in Chester County and Pottstown.

    Waste Connections recently purchased our waste management provider, **************. We have not received any service in over two weeks, while continuing to receive invoices for service rendered. The reason for the complaint with the BBB is due to lack of, and inability to, reach this company by communication. Between my wife and I, we have sent numerous emails, made several phone calls and website submissions asking to be contacted or to have our service completed. All outreach attempts have gone unanswered. Phone calls are disconnected or put to VM after waiting in the queue line.
