    My husband and I have a contract with Magic Touch Renovations (Chuck Green) to do construction on our new home to build an addition on the home. (957 Llyod Avenue, Latrobe, PA 15650) The contract was signed on Friday, March 10th, 2023. An initial check of $30,000.00 was given to Magic Touch Renovations. Work was to be started on May 1st, 2023. But due to an injury work did not start until mid-June. Additional Payments that were made due to the payment timeline in our contract. June 26th, 2023 $29,769.29 July 17th, 2023 $29,769.29 September 7th, 2023 $29,769.29 Work was moving along as it should. The last day that Chuck Green was on the work site was October 30th, 2023. He has not been back to the work site since. A text message from my husband was sent to him on November 5th, 2023, letting Chuck know that we have been out of town and would be back soon. Chuck responded that day, acknowledging the text message. After arriving back in town, we went to the work site to see what had been completed while we were gone. We had noticed that no additional work had been completed. We tried to reach out to Chuck via phone, and there was no answer. We had attempted to reach out to Chuck via phone calls and text message multiple times since November 9th, 2023. Chuck had finally responded on November 15, 2023. With a text message stating "He has major issues going on, right now." My husband and I understand that things happen, but he has not tried to make any communication with an update since. Again we have tried to reach out and speak with Chuck multiple times via phone, text message, and email, for any kind of update with our construction. The major issue is that Chuck has more money for the work that has been completed. He has roughly an extra $58,000.00 He has not given us an update on when he might return to the worksite. We have been left in the dark.
