This merchant owes me $5,606.34.I am a member of ***** auctions which allows me to bid on items from merchants on their website. I buy gold and silver for investment retirement from some merchants. On 8/2/2022, I purchased gold and silver items from this merchant costing $5,606.34. According to agreement with *****, the merchant is allowed to charge my credit card on file before items are picked up which this merchant did. When I went to pick up items, all items were not as described on the auction. They were knock off of real items. I declined all items except three which was a set of Sterling flatware, a gold chain and one gold coin which came to a total price of $1,914.36. Not $5,606.34.I have the paperwork from merchant crossing off all items I did not take. When I received my credit card statement for August, I discovered the merchant had charged my card an additional $1,914.36 plus the original $5,606.34 without my permission rather than crediting me with the difference for the three items. I call the merchant and he assured me he had credited me the $5,606.34.I contacted my credit card company and found he had not credited my card. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company and the merchant has still not credited my account after almost two months.
