The transactio dollarsn happened Aprill 2022. I enrolled in the course for a high school dip;oma. The entire course was $900.00. I was suppose to receive a discount of $30.00 for transcripts of high school credits. My final balance was suppose to be $870.00. I spoke to Clerk ***** who signed me up. I was sent the contract to sign via email. I was to pay $50.00 a month. I paid the first payment of 50.00. after I signed the contract which was suppose to be the aggrement we agreed upon I was than told the tutition was 1499.99. I was told the 900.00 was only if I paid in full. These were never discussed with me. I probably paid around 700.00 dollars. I have tried to get this settled with the school for several months. They refuse to honor their aggreement.

I signed up for Penn Foster around October of 2022. I was under the impression if I did not pay my bill I would not be able to complete my course work or receive my diploma. I later read the contract I signed which states that you have 12 months to un-enroll without being responsible for the full tuition. When my family fell on hard times and I was unable to pay my bill I was sent to collections for the full tuition, even though it had only been 7 months since I signed up. I quickly un-enrolled and was told I was only responsible for $550, since I completed less than 25% of the course work. I called the collection agency and they confirmed this information. It has been 3 months and my credit report still states I owe over $1300. I have tried disputing twice for incorrect information and was denied both times.

I welcome the opportunity to address *** ******’s concerns. *** ****** enrolled into the High School diploma program on October 26, 2022, by submitting a signed enrollment agreement and down payment.

Due to defaulted payments, *** ******’s account was sent to outside collection agency. As stated in the enrollment agreement, “If you do not pay the overdue amount and late fee within 40 days, Penn Foster reserves the right to suspend your enrollment in the Program immediately and require you to pay the outstanding balance of the program price associated with the payment plan you chose. In addition, you will be responsible for any collection costs, including legal fees, incurred by Penn Foster to collect amounts owed.”

On July 10, 2023 *** ****** requested to cancel her program. As per the enrollment agreement, *** ****** is at a 25% cancellation liability. I will have the terms of cancellation updated accordingly with the collection agency. As Penn Foster does not directly report on student’s credit, *** ****** will need to reach out to the agency to inquire about her how long it takes for her credit to be amended. *** ****** owes a liability for the coursework she has completed in her programs.

I was trying to enroll in the school. I am getting an employer to pay me directly the tuition amount. Then I would pay the school. I have gone thru **********@pennfoster.edu who told me he can not send me an itemized statement. My employee requires one to seek the pre payment. He send me to *************@pennfoster.edu. ******* was less then helpful and was only interested in letting me know that he can only help if my employer would work with them directly. He went as far as to let me know that if I was ever sent back to his department that he could not help. I have an email thread where the two men try to not be able to help. I just need is,"school bill invoice that’s been issued to me with itemized totals. Along with something that would have a start date." This is apparently an ongoing issue.

I started with penn foster on May 3,2023 to get my high school diploma, I was doing great until today.. I was holding a 86% with a 3.0 gpa. today I received a phone call from ********************************* he was calling from the escalations department. He informed me that I was being dismissed from the school. I questioned him about it, He said it was because I violated the code of conduct and I don't even think I did. I was at the very end of my classes where I just had to submit my very last exam to be graded so I could graduate. but nope he didn't care, thought they were a place that helped people with their education, guess I was absolutely wrong. Instead of dismissing me all he had to do is let me submit my very last exam to be graded and penn foster would have never heard from me ever again as I did not have any intentions of going any further than getting my high school diploma, I worked very hard to get finished so I could apply for a job and now I can't because he did this to me. all he had to do is look at the situation and think to himself hey he only has one exam left let us let him submit it for grading and he would be done with us.. but nope again he didn't care about destroying my Life or my education. All I wanted to do is finish and he stopped me from doing it!! again it just shows they don't care about anyone accomplishing their education ie; My High School Diploma. Being able to graduate would have changed my life for the better considering what I've been through in the past 9 years but mostly the past 2 years when my career was destroyed. Getting my Diploma would have relieved a lot of stress for me and I could have moved on with what of a life I have. and they said I violated the code of conduct but yet when I tried to call back and talk to him about it, they had my number blocked, how UNPROFESSIONAL it that?? if anybody violated anything it was Penn Foster for being unprofessional by blocking my number and violating my rights as a student.

I am a paying mother of a student in this program. Penn Foster has not had a graduation for the last three or four year. Penn Foster has rented a facility and sold out tickets. PF has given a deadline for students to have their work and payment in before June 30, 2023. This is reasonable, however, we had technical difficulty at least two weeks. I have attempted to resolve this issue in house. There is an ****** in escalation that refuses to allow me to speak with anyone in upper management (over him) who could help resolve this situation. All my son wants to do is graduate. I am not able to talk with ******. I would prefer to speak with his boss or someone who can help us.

I am rejecting this response because: My son was not able to get into his account for two weeks consecutively. Penn Foster only allows the student to work on 15 classes per week. He was not able to work on his account for two weeks in a row. Penn Foster has not had a graduation for the last several years. I called Penn Foster several times to fix the technical issue. I emailed. I got a response days later. The response was no help. It did not address the technical issue that prevented him from getting onto his account. I have a copy of the technical report email. Their technical support never offered a solution. Penn Foster is only concerned about ticket sales for this year's graduation. Going forward, I would like to have an exact list of the classes that my son has left  to complete his course work . Please list the entire name of the classes. Please list the number of lessons left in each class. Please provide the amount left that I owe on this account. Please send  me the name and number of  manager for ****** in escalations. On September 22, 2022, my credit was hit with $1,984 from An outside credit source that was directed from Penn Foster. I have never attended Penn Foster, Never enrolled, never signed up, never did anything from them. I would like this account removed from all 3 credit bureaus. I have contacted them to send me proof that I signed up, etc. nothing was sent. Its been more than 7 months. I also tried disputing this but it kept coming back as accurate. How can it be accurate when I have never attended this school or signed up for it? I am 28 years old who already graduated college. Why would I need to attend another one?
