Had plumber install a furnace purchased from RJ walkers Lehighton location in December 2022.Furnace has a defective blower.Installer has been unable to get replacement part which is covered under warranty.Owner of RJ walkers claims after 3 months that he has the replacement part however wants my installer to remove the defective blower leaving my home with no heat during cold temperatures and bring the defective blower before he will release the replacement blower.RIDICULOUS my installer does thousands of dollars in business with RJ walkers and the owner wants my home to be left without heat stating he wants the defective blower before he releases the new one Obviously RJ WALKERS does not stand behind what they sell.RJ WALKERS wants an installer to leave a home with no heat before they will release a replacement part.It obvious the owner doesn't value his customers.I guess because the owner thinks he's untouchable that he doesn't care .My wife and I put our trust in his product as did our installer..RJ WALKERS owner wants you trust in his products but doesn't trust an installer that spends thousands of dollars at his business .I guess the owner of RJ walkers feels he can walk all over 2 senior citizens that had his product installed in their home.BUYERS BEWARE THIS BUSINESS DOES NOT FULLY HONOR WARRANTIES ON HIS PRODUCTS

      To Whom it May Concern:

While we strive to ensure the happiness of all our customers, u
nfortunately the complainant does not wish to comply with the simple warranty request.  We notified the customer the part was in, but they would have to either return the supposedly defective part in order to receive the replacement OR pay for the replacement upfront and the payment would be FULLY refunded immediately upon return of the defective part.  The home would only be without heat for as long as it takes the plumber to replace it, which would be the same amount of time whether we just handed over a new part or he paid upfront for it.  We can't just hand out parts hoping people will return the originals - we must ENSURE the supposedly defective part is returned to us.  This is a logical procedure.

We need the defective part so we can return it to the manufacturer for two reasons: 1) to ensure we get credit for the part; 2) so the manufacturer can determine what, if anything, was wrong with the part.  On this particular part, we are not aware of any defective issues with it.

We do not know any retailer that would allow someone to walk into a store and say something is defective and receive a replacement without returning the supposedly defective part at the time of the swap.
This is simply a customary practice.
