    I rented 3 tents and tables and chairs for my daughter's wedding. The wedding was on 9/24/22. The rented equipment arrived on Friday, 9/23/22 as expected. Everything was to be ready to be picked up by 7 am Sunday 9/25/22. We followed the contract and even lowered the tents per Mr. G******** request because we were expecting bad weather. We left the venue around 10 am Sunday and no one had yet come to remove the equipment. The owner of the property said that Mr. G****** came in the afternoon and was pleased with what we had done. He took the tables and chairs but didn't take the tents because it was raining. The weather turned worse on Monday and tents blew over and 2 of the tents were damaged, according to Mr. G******. Mr. G****** asked me to file a claim to my event insurance, which I did. The claim was denied because 1) the event was over and 2) we didn't do anything wrong. Mr. G****** hasn't returned my $300 security deposit and isn't responding to my correspondence. I sent a couple of emails and a "signature confirmation" letter on 10/26/22 which he has not accepted. USPS attempted to deliver on 10/28/22.

    Mr. G****** contacted me on Monday 11/07/2022 and although clearly very upset said he would refund my security deposit, which I received on Thursday 11/10/2022.  I thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.  Your intervention prompted Mr. G****** to do what he knew was right.
