      Dear BBB and Tibbott & Richardson,I hired Tibbott & Richardson on 12/6/2024 to take care of a family issue. While it was promised the $7500 retainer fee was fully refundable if not used, I signed the contract and paid. However, although I requested to stop the service a few days later in writing, still I have never received an itemized statement nor any refund till now. Overall, an attorney talked to me for less than ten minutes over the phone. Other than that, it has been hard to receive a response after several follow up calls and emails.

      I am writing to respond to the complaint submitted to by the client, regarding their experience with out firm, Tibbott & Richardson. 

      We value our clients and strive to provide the highest level of service. In this particular case, the client received a full and thorough consultation. Following the consultation, the client decided not to retain our services. In accordance with our policy, we issued the client a refund. 

      We understand that the decision to seek legal representation can be difficult, and we are committed to ensuring that our clients feel supported throughout this process. We believe we acted in accordance with our policies and the best interest of our clients. 

      If there are specific concerns or issues that were not addressed during the consultation, we would be more than willing to discuss them further. Our goal is to ensure that all clients feel their needs are met and their concerns are heard.

      It has been over 2 months since I terminated Tibbotts & Richardson as my attorney and they haven't returned my retainer. I keep emailing them and the last time that they answered was a month ago and said that it would be sent in the next billing cycle. I still don't have it. Two months is way to long to return some ones $5000 and it is completely unprofessional.
