    My husband and I were looking for someone to install drywall and do some mudding work. We look and called a few places and the gentleman name John return our call. He came out said he could do the job within a weeks time. His first day he got some things done and everything seem to be going ok. Than he would come in for a few hours and barely get anything done or abruptly need to leave. This went on for maybe two weeks. Than we made the decision since he didn’t get very far nor did he finish the job we had to let him go and ask for a refund. He stated since everything was his fault he would return the money but he has since ignored messages.

    My name is John H**** I have a handyman business called birds handyman and remodeling service I did work for *********** ******** and his wife I started work everything was going good and I had an emergency in a way come up I talked to ** ******** told him that I had to take a week off of his work and therefore I would do it for free and at the end of it I would pay him the deposit back I used my materials and all that my drywall mud some of my drywall ** ******** was okay with me taking the week and the day that I returned I did the work I worked that day he texted me that night telling me to be there by 8:00 in the morning I was busy I didn't respond back to him so he texted me a couple hours later saying to come get my **** I would have finished the job but they fired me because they didn't like that I didn't respond to them I have never ignored them on the date that they filed the complaint I texted ** ******** and told him that I just recently got a job for the winter and then I would pay him on such and such date so then telling you that I have ignored them and not answering their calls or texts is a lie I offered the refund of $260 that was the deposit that was given but after you see the photos I believe I've done $260 worth of work I have no problem giving him his money back if you have any questions give me a call back at ************ thank you and have a great day

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. 

    The walls in the picture are the same one is before and after pictures. Also, we provided all materials and mudding and i do have my Lowes credit card information for that if needed, john only used his tools that is all. the only reason i went this route is because this started the end of September and should have been done first week of October. all i ask is the refund to be sent to clear this matter up.
