    I contracted this Breams heating and cooling to replace my ageing AC system with a new heat pump last november. The installers had forgotten to install a box for the airfilter so the unit had to be uninstalled and reinstalled. After their second visit they had disconnected common to my thermostat so i had to have that addressed by another AC company. Also on the shady side I was set up with financing for a ********** unit and they installed a *******. Now less than 6 months later the condinsate pump they installed went out and flooded the garage. They had wired a plug in 115volt pump to a 220 volt power source. the motor was seized and badly burned. also they achieved this connection by choping off the plug and duct taping the wires to the 220 line without wire nuts or a junction box. The owner of the company promised a refund for installation since i have had nothing with problems with the unit... "I'll send someone out with a check tomorrow" he said... that was 6 months ago and i have yet to recieve any compensation. At this point Breams heating and cooling is no longer welcomed at my residence and i have contacted another company to fix these issues. I also have filed a chargeback with the creditor and they were veryinterested in the fact that i recieved financing for a ********** unit but they installed a *******.

    On August 21, 2022, my husband and I accepted a proposal to install a new heat pump and air handler from Breams Heating and Cooling in Shippensburg. We noticed in December (over Christmas) that our system did not switch over to emergency heat as it should. We have attempted multiple times to contact Breams, as we have a service membership, and one-year satisfaction guarantee through them, but they have not responded. My husband went as far as to go to the office and knock on the door, to which he was greeted by the owner of the building that Breams rented from and was told that staff from Breams have not been seen in a few weeks. I have left at least 5 messages, attempted to contact them through their website and with no response. I have our signed proposal as well as the satisfaction guarantee. Our total investment was $11,059.00, which we paid to ********************* on August 21, 2022. We have spoken to other HVAC companies who state that the unit we purchased is not the best and that it must have been installed incorrectly since there is no option on the thermostat for emergency heat. I have not had anyone fix the problem, as I have been waiting on Breams since the service should be free. Please advise.
