    Charged for work that was completed incorrectly and actually poses hazard. New light fixtures installed now flickering and turning on and off. Light fixture falling from ceiling not attached to beam. Windows installed incorrectly. Told by another contractor literally just stuck window in. Not capped. Brand new door cut instead of framing out and cutting doorway. Left 2 inch gap at bottom of door can see daylight. LVP flooring install done incorrectly. Again per licensed contractor inspection. Bathroom was gutted whole area per his recommendation. Floor he installed is not level. New vanity with shims underneath to level. New shower install wall is hollow never reinforced. Can not even place safety rail as it would pull wall right down. Faucets on backwards. Patio door install upside down. Told all electrical was bad. Rewired some parts of home but per contractor investigating wires left in a hazardous way. Cut off already working electric and left with power issues. Told plumbing was all bad. Again per inspecting contractor his work is incorrect will need redone. Spilled paint all over driveway was told he would have cleaned. Never did. Told all windows bad all electric bad. Told an electric water heater was nonfunctional. Which now I have doubt as it was functioning day I bought the property. Everything was functional prior to him getting his hands on this home and destroying it. Promised house would be done by June pushed it back all summer. Constantly received runaround as to why work could not be completed and why he wasnt showing up to complete jobs. He was paid 18000$ upfront. I paid for storage unit for well extended period of time past promise date that work would be finished creating more costs. I paid for all supplies and was charged 18000$ for work that will all need redone. If I am not compensated I will need to proceed with legal action as advised by my attorney.

    Signed a contractor (owner) in Dec 2023 to build a roof over my deck. Paid 1/2 down ($2,900) was suppose to be completed by end of spring this year. Here we are Sept and have no roof yet. Have made multiple attempts to contact and either get no response or an excuse. Then I receive a check in the mail for the amount of my down payment with a note stating he is to behind on jobs and it's not fair that he can't get it completed. Fine ok. Deposit the check and it bounced. So now I'm still out my down payment plus bank fees for a bounced/return check and of course no response from owner.

    I contracted with MJM Contracting in September 2022. The removal of the deck began in October 2022. Several phone calls and text messages have been made to contractor requesting when the job will be completed. He rarely responds to my messages and will not answer his phone calls from me. My neighbor had to contact him by phone to request that he contact me. He told her he would and never did!.I have sent him a check for $3800.00 (1/2 down).All I want is my deck to be completed. Please help me. Thank you. ******************* **************
