  Last year I was desperate to have my HVAC system replaced in a commercial property in Phila. I called around and these guys were the lowest, and they had what I needed in stock, so I went with them. Well, come to find out, their price was for only one zone of the two zone building! Now the price is MORE THAN DOUBLE their estimate. But as I say, no one else had the parts I needed, so I was over a barrel and went ahead. I gave them a big, fat deposit to get started. Well, the guy, Val, is calling me multiple time BEFORE THE WORK IS EVEN FINISHED, wanting to be paid in full. I tell them not until the install is complete. So they "finished" the install and I paid them in full. I get a call from the tenant late fall saying that there's no heat. I already don't trust this shady company, so I send my regular company down. Evidently, Affordable Fixes NEVER HOOKED UP THE GAS LINE! WTF! So a couple hundred dollars later and my normal company gets the system working for heat. But it gets worse... A few months ago, I get a call from the tenant that there's something leaking down the wall from one of the units. Again, I call my regular people, and they do a diagnostic and tell me that the system wasn't installed properly, including that the roof unit was never secured to the roof, and had fallen down, among other issues!They try to weasel their way out of it by saying that since this other company "tampered" with the system, the warranty was now invalid! I finally get the owner, Val, to meet me at the property on June 3, 2022, and he agrees to honor the warranty. Finally, they go out there again try to shift blame by accusing some phantom criminal of climbing on the roof and knocking the unit over. Then they tell me that over $800 of coolant had leaked out & refused to fix anything until I pay them for that. ********** sent them a new compressor to install and now they are holding it hostage until I give them more $. Now the entire system has failed and they are MIA.

  *****, we have been going back and forth with you since April. As per your complain you confirmed you had 2 other companies at this unit incompetently trying to fix it. We still do not understand why you didn't reach out to us right away?, as we are the once that installed and warrantied your system for 10 years! We installed your unit 7/1/21 you reached out to us on 4/12/22 after multiple "other companies" were out to the unit (not sure why). When we arrived we found leak sealant injected in the system, screws missing off the unit, valve port caps missing, system laying on the side with line set twisted and leaking. We lifted the unit back in place, flushed out all of green leak sealant injected into system, repaired refrigerant lines, tested the system and charged with 410A at that point finding a failed compressor. After your multiple threats we agreed to get the compressor for you but you refuse to pay for crane lift and refrigerant as per your signed contract only material is covered not labor.

  You are slandering our business due to your poor choices and calling other companies.

  At this time you aren't cooperating and threatening us with lawyers and court we have your compressor and have given you multiple chances to get this resolved. Its unfortunate this situation happened to you but we aren't the once to blame!
