All new units go through and pass our rigorous pre delivery inspection (PDI) process before they are sold. Proper transportation of WolfBrand Scooters is necessary for proper operation of the unit.  During customer pickup, it was observed and noted that this unit was improperly loaded sideways into the back of an suv by the customer.  This action caused damage to the unit and gasoline to leak from the scooter and into the SUV.  We advised the customer not to transport the unit in this manner, as it could also cause further complications beyond what was witnessed, but our advice was ignored. When the customer reached out to us and said the unit would not start we informed the customer to bring the unit in for repair, ********************** was not withheld, even with knowledge of the improper transport and damage done by the customer. It has been ************************************************************ for repair.

I am writing to express my significant disappointment regarding your response to the Better Business Bureau's inquiry. Prior to my purchase of the scooter, we engaged in several conversations. These discussions included concerns about the front brake, a component you acknowledged was malfunctioning. I traveled 116 miles to purchase the scooter, providing a $200 deposit as requested to allow you to address these pre-existing issues.

On two separate occasions, I attempted to collect the scooter only to be advised by you to postpone my trip for safety reasons until repairs were complete. Your subsequent claim that you advised against using a trailer is inaccurate. I informed you via text message on July 8, 2024, that I was rescheduling my pickup for a second time due to this delay, expressing my growing discouragement.

Your assertion that I am at fault for any damage to the scooter is demonstrably false. You and your son assisted my cousin, ***** *******, in loading the scooter, even providing an additional strap. Your assurances at that time directly contradict your current account of the situation.

Furthermore, the extended delay in my collection was partly due to the necessity of replacing the scooter's batterya situation you were aware of. My lack of prior experience riding a scooter was also discussed, and despite my inquiries regarding licensing requirements, you incorrectly informed me that a license was unnecessary. This misrepresentation is particularly concerning given the scooter's cc rating mandates a motorcycle license, which I subsequently obtained. A responsible vendor should be thoroughly familiar with all relevant safety regulations and licensing requirements associated with their products. Your actions fall short of acceptable business practices.

Final response to complaint # ********

This unit was purchased AS-IS on July 13th, 2024, (see the attached paperwork). The customer signed 3 times to this fact. Proper loading & transportation is the sole responsibility of the person transporting the unit.  It's also the sole responsibility of the consumer to know their state & local laws.  With that said license requirement can be found on Wolf Brand Scooters website *************************************************************************; also on ****** by simply typing in the search bar "PA scooter license requirements" & ********************************************************************************************************
