I meet with ******* and he sister in-law when they came into the Dealership to discuss their concerns about whether or not there was an error when drafting up her Extended Warranty. She explained to me that her car's transmission was bad and she had received a quote of $7,000 to get it repaired, she thought she has coverage in place.  At this time, she had already been into the dealership and meet with our service and finance depts and had been told her warranty had expired.  I pulled the deal from our office to review the contract with her and her sister in-law who did most of the talking due to a language barrier. After some time back and forth we figured out that her warranty was in fact expired. The warranty she purchased was for 7 years or ******* miles which ever came first, starting from the original in-service date of the vehicle which was 5/30/2015, which means her expiration by date would have been 5/30/2022 or ******* miles. I was able to get her quote down from the original $7,000 for the repair to $4,700 but was told by her sister in-law that she was not able to pay that due to financial constraints and that they would hold off for now but appreciated the gesture.
