      On 9/3/23, I purchased the Saturday General Admission ticket to the ******** Taco Festival 2023, Order #**********. The $18.19 ticket included event entry and one free $9 drink voucher. Apparently, two women at the entrance were supposed to distribute the proper amount of drink vouchers to each of the hundreds of attendees based on the type of ticket they purchased. I never received a drink voucher at the check-in station. When I returned to the check-in station to inform the drink voucher distributor that I never receive one, a manager overheard the conversation, interrupted me and said I couldn't receive a drink voucher because I already walked into the event. She then said, "that the girls were getting everyone walking in." It was never communicated to customers when, where or how to get the drink voucher. The manager never let me finish a sentence for me to explain who I checked in by and how I was missed. The check-in station required that each attendee talk to 4 different people. One being a man that was yelling at people at soon as they arrived to present their IDs to get their hand stamped if they wanted to drink. There was no signage or anyone who wasn’t yelling explaining the check-in process. The next person I interacted with scanned my ticket and said, “you’re good.” Then I received a red ticket with a code to put my personal info in an iPad for a marketing promotion. When I returned to the check-in to get the drink voucher I never received there still wasn’t a woman handing them out in the line I was in. As a result I paid for something that I never received. Since the manager was unwilling to listen to me long enough to resolve the mistake, I felt my only action of recourse was to contact the BBB.

      I also disputed this charge on my card and was refunded. I just wanted to let you know that I was eventually made whole and won't pursue any further action against them at this time. Thank you for keeping this complaint on file.
