Brought my truck in for an oil change, tire rotation and alignment. Was told that my battery needed to be replaced and my exhaust system also needed to be replaced and that my tailpipe was about to fall off. I chose to have my tailpipe replaced since I was afraid it would fall off while driving like Midas said. They said it came with a lifetime warranty. I never took my truck back to Midas since to this day I have not had to replace the battery that they insisted was bad. However, as time has passed I am now even more frustrated with the service and quality of parts provided by the state college Midas since I took my truck into my current mechanic in December to find out that my exhaust and tailpipe needed to be replaced again. While Midas said they used quality parts they didnt and when I looked into the lifetime guarantee it said I would have to pay for labor to replace. I decided to have my current mechanic replace the exhaust since he was going to use quality parts that would last me longer than the four years if not the life of my truck which is what I thought Midas would do.

    Additional Information:

I attached the Midas bill and the CG auto repair bill. On the Midas bill 108 EXH105 exhaust and the 2 component installation labor is where they charged me for the tailpipe. On the CG bill, the muffler assembly tail pipe is where the charge is for the new one I recently put on my truck. On C.G. there was an additional labor cost for exhaust and other things done to my truck.
