    I do not recommend the Mt. Nittany Health provider system. Aside from the poor quality of care that you will see commented in most online reviews, I have had numerous problems with their charges and billing practices. They have, on more than one occasion, charged me and my insurance company 2x for the same service. They have charged me for services that were not rendered during a visit. They have charged me for the health care visit itself, and then turned around and sent a separate bill for the building / facilities that the visit occurred in. These billing practices appear to be a primary way that Mt. Nittany tries to extract far more money out of their patients and insurance companies. For me, the billing practices have led to hours and hours spend trying to get bills corrected. But their customer service is general unhelpful and rarely even listens to, or considers complaints. This leaves the patient stuck without options and just having to pay exorbitant bills even as customer service reps repeat the company motto that all is correct and normal. I find this company to be unethical. ***** ****** needs some competition so that patients have other options and can force Mr. Nittany to improve or get lost. Unfortunately, they have a near monopoly, and it shows in the way the treat patients.
