February 26 2020 Keith Pieller quoted my company High Rise Realty $10,900 to replace the metal roof at ************* Reading, PA******* with a brand new gray ******** metal roof. The installation included replacing a third floor rubber porch roof and any rotted wood as well as interior wall repair and painting. On March 2 2020 told me he offered a 5 year warranty for the roofing. By May 22nd the job was complete and Keith Pieller was paid $10,900 in full with the checks made out to him directly as he advised the checks could be put in his name or his company's name K Pieller Construction and mailed to the address at ********************************* May 18 2020 I notified Keith that there was damage to an interior wall and that they painted that was a fabric material and not meant to be painted and a different color paint was used in other parts of the house. They fixed that and were paid in fully by May 22 2020. June 5 the tenant notified me that the roof was leaking. I asked him to take photos. I asked if he could take photos. On June 11th I tried to reach out again. No answer. September 30th again, no answer. October 5th I asked for my money back if he doesn't want to fix it. Oct. 7 he went to look and started blaming others. Sept 28 2021 I asked he honor his warranty, he said he would. Never did. After multiple phone calls and text messages Oct 5 2021, Jan 26 2022. Feb 17 2022, Feb 25, 2022, March 5 2022, April 19 asking for his insurance information and he has refused to reply back at all. There has been over $20,000 of interior damages and I have been told by an adjuster and numerous roofing experts this is a "workmanship issue" and the only way to fix this properly is to remove the roof entirely and replace it because it was not installed correctly in more areas than one. The wood planks are also not the same size for the porch which aesthetically looks terrible. Any reasonable person would have expected like for like repairs. I hope to get this resolved
