    Contract was written and expected to be completed within 3 weeks. It's ongoing into week 5 with the total accumulating more than contracted and the mess that has been generated is awful.

    15 working days is what was thought to complete job. The customer added several changes to the original contract which would add several days. We are on schedule do to weather, which we have no control over!

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    To date $19,600 paid to contractor towards our contract. Services rendered do not match services charged. The built portions of the deck are out of square with each other and the house up to 1 inch over 4 feet. Additional money spent to attempt to complete the work with a new contractor to date are $3,200. That total doesn't include compensation for his work. The contractor took advantage of the situation, as I gave him free room and board at my residence to assist in his travel costs until the job was completed. Excessive drinking and oversleeping is what led to his inability to complete the contracted services in a timely manner.
