      On May 29th, 2024 I had contacted Trib Total Media to inquire about running a memorial ad for our friend who had passed away 40th birthday. I received the price list. which and reached out to the paper on June 3rd, 2024 so there would be plenty of time to make adjustments for the memorial prior to the date of June 13th that we wanted it placed. upon contacting them I informed them that I would like to purchase the $75 dollar one.Which on there price list includes 1 laminate copy.

      I was not informed of extra charges for borders or clip art. I gave all my contact information and it ended up costing $93.50. This was because of a $20 charge for origami and a $1 charge for e-trib. After the proof was approved to run. I found out that it was ran in a different paper then what we had thought it would be in. There were lots of e-mail back and forth the final e-mails never confirmed the paper which we would like it placed. It was mentioned briefly in earlier e-mails, however this detail should have been confirmed prior to it being ran. Since, the prior e-mail was not seen due to the thread of e-mails back and forth.

      We where hoping for friends and family to see this ran on her birthday in our local paper. Based off of the address they were provided a professional should have questioned which paper we would like it placed in. After finding out the ad was in the Westmorland county paper instead I asked if it could possibly be ran in the correct county, even though it would be late. I was informed that they would probably have to charge since the mentioned in an earlier e-mail but never confirmed final details.

      After a few days passed I e-mailed to inquire about the laminate copy. I was informed that they stopped doing that service this year which was not disclosed prior to my purchase. I was only offered a digital copy which I would have to print and laminate on my own.
