    The waitress lied and said I threw the food because she asked to see the hair. I didn’t throw the food on the floor until I was on my way out the door because she refused to pay me or give me different food. I didn’t take not even one bite of the food. What would I get out of doing all this. They think they can get away with this I asked the owner to check the camera and he stopped replying to me. The owner believes that his employee would never lie apparently. That’s not fair to me, I just wanted my food to be clean. But because I’m black it’s so easy for people to lie about me or rip me off. Well not today. I refuse to tolerate this treatment. I just felt like I had no voice I am 30 years old and they treated me like a child. Please help me.

    To whom it may concern,

     

    The management team and staff at Ales in 6th reviewed this incident, as the customer engaged in a text conversation with an owner after the occurence.  The customer claimed that a hair was present in their food.  After the staff member asked if she could please see the hair, the customer threw the food across the restaurant, alarming other customers and causing a scene.  At that time, she was asked to leave the premises.

    Upon further conversation with the customer via text message, we offered the customer a refund as a gesture of good faith, however the refund offer was not accepted.  We did ask the customer to take some time away from our establishment(3 months), as her actions caused quite a disturbance that is not accepted at our establishment.
