C&Cauto sales deal ************************************* advertised a 2006 ***** ********** on his lot that has NO ISSUES, so i jumped right on it and offered him $3000. i gave him half down on Monday July 3rd. we agreed on pickup date as Saturday July 8th. (this buisness is 2.5hrs away from me, so i bought sight unseen because he said NO ISSUES) and i believed him. on thursday July 6th he says the windshield has a small crack and he ordered it already. i expected it to be taken care of when we arrived. on our way there on saturday i asked "rockers are good?" he said "yup good rockers". he tells me they are doing the windshield at 9am and we will be arriving around noon so thats plenty of time to get it done. When he arrives at the Taylor location it still has the cracked windshield. he says they couldn't do it cause they were missing a piece of trim. i signed the paperwork and left with the car because he promised he would take care of the windshield. i offered to drive as far as Bloomsburg to get it done but he said it has to be Hazelton. another 2.5hr trip taking up 6hrs of my day and a ton of gas. after hearing nothing, on the 19th i said whats going on? so he made an appt at ******** for the windshield at MY EXPENSE. so i had to put a windshield in for $350 and then find out it wont pass inspection because it has holes in the wheel wells and the ROCKERS ARE SO BAD. he lied to me. i got 2 estimates to fix the rockers, one is $1700 and the other is $1000. i want him to remiburse me for the windshield and the rocker repair work. he should have not put a car on the lot with a cracked windshield, period.

I purchased a vehicle from this business on 7/17/23. I purchse price of the vehicle was $4500. I got him down to $4400 but ended up buying a 90 day warranty for $100. I also paid $60 for 2 tires that were supposed to be good for the rear of the vehicle. I'm a 77 yr old woman who purchased this on my own. We were talking about various things so I wasn't fully paying attention to what he was saying. He put on the bill of sale that I paid $3500 for the vehicle which was incorrect. I did not notice this until a later date. I did wonder why the sales tax was less than what I expected it to be but I didn't question it. The vehicle was due a state inspection. I took it the garage on 8/1 for inspection and it would not pass inspection. The tires that I had paid the extra $60 were all dry rot and had plugs in them. All 4 of the tires were the wrong size for the vehicle. The other 2 tires were also in the same condition. The vehicle needs a LF controls arm w/ ball joint so it would not pass inspection. I was told at the garage that it was illegal to sell a vehicle that would not pass state inspection. I called the dealer and toldhim about it and ask him what he was going to do to make it right. He was willing to buy 4 new tires at his cost and charge me another $500 for them. I told him that the car was supposed to have good tires and that it was illegal to sell a vehicle if it didn't pass inspection. Total cost of the repairs will be around $1000 so it would pass inspection. On the " As Is-No warranty he just has the 90 day warranty on the power train. On the actual bill of sale he has 90 days warranty. He never gave me a receipt for the $4560 that I gave him. I should have been more cautious in what I was doing. I had a friend take me from Montrose to Taylor ( apr an hr away) to look at the car. He drove it and noticed a noise but thought it was just something minor. It was difficult to see the tires were bad as well as the control arm until the mechanic got it up on the lift to see under it. The friend that went with me did not go in the office with me when I paid for the car.he felt it was personal business and his wife had spoken to the dealer and felt he could be trusted. He was to return my call and as of today 8/3 he has not.

The vehicle was a 2015 ****** ***** apr mileage 158,000, Date of purchase 7/17/2023. The dealer also had a 2012 *** ******* on the lot for sale listed at $5995.00 That vehicle had duct tape holding the rocker panels on which made it illegal to sell, it would not pass inspection either. From what I understand the dealer has been in problem before for selling vehicles without titles.  He's a car dealer and should be well aware of the fact that he cannot legally sell a vehicle that will not pass inspection. It is also illegal to sell a vehicle that has any tape or material covering up a problem with it. I had 4 new tires installed on 8/7/23 ( $519,.00 ) in the process the check engine light came on stating the vehicle would need a catalyic converter which could up to another $2000. If this comes backup when I return to the garage for inspection,it will not pass. I should have been paying more attention to the paperwork he had me sign. He was well aware of every dishonest thing he was doing and he had no regrets. I should have realized that he did not give me a receipt for the actual amt that I paid him. I feel I should be reimbursed for all repairs on the vehicle and that he should no longer be able to sell vehicles again. I would also like for this to go public on the local news to make the public aware of what he's doing so some senior citizen or anyone is taken advantage of again.

On 8/3/2022 I purchased a 2013 ***** ****** as co-applicant for my 18-year old daughter from Chris S****** (owner of C&C Auto Sales). We purchased the car with the intention and promise of a 90-day power train warranty which was included in some of the vehicles as a Service Contract for an extra fee. We decided to move forward with this vehicle since it was one of the vehicles which could have this optional contract included. We have since received a letter from the warranty company (**** ********** ****) stating that the dealership C&C Auto Sales "submitted a service contract for your 2013 ***** ******. We are cancelling your service contract because the payment received from the dealership was returned from the bank and we are unable to process the payment. Our contract clearly states that the service contract goes into effect when received with proper payment; therefore, your service contract with **** ********** ****, Inc is void." We were told verbally by "Q" and Chris that this was a service contract that normally runs "several hundred dollars". Based upon the letter we received, we do not (nor have we ever) had a valid contract and now we are unable to get any work done on the car within the 90-day timeframe. We are stuck with a vehicle that quite honestly we may not have purchased had we not been guaranteed a 90-day piece of mind of a service contract. We are not seeking a refund of the car -- we intend to keep it as we have invested some money in it-we are seeking $1000 for the contract and repairs. I've reached out via phone call several times to the owner Chris many times to try to resolve this and I have messaged him. I have attached my last (unanswered yet viewed) message to him. He has never replied to any of my outreach attempts. I sincerely hope you can help us with this situation. This has caused a lot of headaches and some financial strain. He should not be allowed to be a business owner and do things like this. Highly unethical.
