1 starI was covered through Chubb/ACI as part of a study abroad program in ****** last fall. Back in November, I submitted all invoices and receipts for some healthcare and doctors visits I needed; the reimbursement never arrived. I have reached out now 4 times to customer support, each time with the promise that the checks are being reissued and sent to the address on file (which is the correct address, and the same one printed on the uploaded images of the original checks). I am exhausted waiting each and every day for checks that I fear may never arrive, and frustrated by the empty responses I have received from customer support. If it had been my choice, and if I had known what I know now based on this experience, I would have found coverage elsewhere.Review fromAmanda F

I was diagnosed with not one, but two, invasive cancers and under this insurance plan, I qualify for the critical illness benefit. I have sent all the information they requested, certified mail - so I know they received it, but after HOURS and HOURS over several weeks worth of calling and being on hold to no avail, leaving messages, and sending emails, I have gotten no response. I am guessing that I wont receive the benefits I paid for and its sad, because I could really use to pay for costly medical bills.Administrative Concepts, Incorporated

1 starIf I could I wouldve given them a 0 star. I have been out of work now for little over a month. I filed my claim for short term disability and still no check. I called on July 8, 2024 to get an update just to be informed that they need doctors notes. I faxed them on July 11, 2024. I called again this morning to follow through with this just for the young lady to tell me its going to be another 15 business days for them to review it. I paid for this insurance just for me to continue to wait. Its a BIG problem when you have no income coming in. I will NEVER recommend this insurance to anyone. They dont have compassionate and they dont care whether you get your money or not. It seems to me they try all they could to not pay you. Im done with this company.Review fromJoshua B

As someone who's been through the wringer with ACI Insurance, I felt compelled to share my story so others can steer clear of the headache I've endured. Back in October, I filed a claim with ACI as my secondary insurer, with United Healthcare as the primary. Cut to over a year later, and I'm still stuck in a loop of unprocessed paperwork and empty promises. Calling them up meant hours wasted on hold, being told over and over to just resend documents (which my provider and I did countless times), and assurances that my claim was being looked at. Despite that, I kept getting form letters saying they were missing documents to process the claim. It's like I've been shouting into the void. No matter how many times I send the necessary info, all I get in response are more requests for the same documents and the sound of crickets until their next 'we-can't-find-your-info' letter lands in my mailbox. To say I'm frustrated is an understatement. It's March 2024 now—the provider sent in the original claim in February 2023! This isn't just poor service; it's a complete breakdown of a system that's supposed to support its customers when they need it the most. I'm saying this loud and clear for anyone considering ACI: you might want to think twice. What good is insurance if just filing a claim turns into a full-time job? Businesses like this should be held accountable, especially when they drop the ball on something as critical as health insurance. We deserve better. For those at ACI - if you're listening - it's high time to step up your game and get your act together. Because no one should have to go through what I've been through just to get a claim processed.Administrative Concepts, Incorporated

Mr. B****, We appreciate you presenting your experience through the BBB. We had the details of your claim reviewed today and a check is being issued today for the full amount claimed. We are also investigating the communications provided to you throughout your experience and will address any instances where we were not clear enough in presenting what was specifically needed for the claim. We agree, you deserved a better experience. One point of clarification, ACI is a third party administrator not an insurer. Regardless, this was an area (claim processing) where we are responsible for ensuring a positive claim experience for you the claimant. We apologize for the experience you received. Again, we are issuing a check today for the balance claimed. Thank you,Administrative Concepts, Incorporated

Scam. They sold my information, the unsolicited phone calls started two minutes (no exaggeration) after I purchased a health plan. Then the lewd sexual emails begun landing in my junk folder the following day. I can’t believe I fell for this and I’ve cancelled the ‘health plan’ after also reading reviews that say that they deny/reject claims.Administrative Concepts, Incorporated

We have no information in our systems with your name. We do not market or sell insurance products, so the health plan you purchased was not through Administrative Concepts, Inc. (ACI).Review fromMISTY B

1 starI have obtained travel insurance through chubb travel for my trip to India in the early months of 2022, and traveled to India from LAX in the month of June 2022. After reaching India, my luggage was delayed by the lufthansa for 5 days. The insurance nor airlines that I purchased through this company did not cover any of my food, clothing, transportation, boarding or lodging expense when the luggage was delayed. After my return to the US in a month through Air Canada, my luggage-2 bags were damaged/unusable, and I forwarded details in June 2022 onwards and they did not reimburse any at all. They keep on asking for claim forms and pictures even though all were submitted to them on time. I have been tossed back n forth between claims and member's services. It is almost going to be a year and they provided 200 dollars as compensation on Feb 27, 2023. They deny all the claims for my onward journey that I suffered due to this constant communication, and their customer process is very poor and terrible, Sincerely, Sowmya GopalanReview fromElizabeth L

1 starThe WORST company I've ever had to deal with. Unresponsive. Unorganized. How they got their BBB rating, I'll never know.Review fromMichelle S

1 starI was just told by the company over the phone that this is only a complimentary to what a person should have as primary insurance. They only cover $25.00 per wellness check and $25.00 per day for any other health care services. I had paid $380.00 per month for 5 years to only find out that I could have saved this money myself in an account as it is way more than what they cover.
