On 10/10/23, I paid Atty David Wenger $800.00 for a simple divorce. On 11/02/23, I paid him $205.75 for filing fees. On 06/18/24, the divorce was final. I had to meet Atty Wenger at a Panera Bread in Boardman, OH to pick up the divorce papers to be signed. I had to get my ex-husband to come to a local notary to get him to sign the papers, (I had to pay for notary), and then I had to meet Atty Wenger at the Mercer County Courthouse to file the papers. The divorce was granted, but I have NEVER received the signed divorce papers. His staff sent me 1 piece of paper from the courthouse granting the divorce, which I have uploaded to you. I need the whole divorce decree (terms) that my ex-husband agreed to. I have asked the attorney and the staff for the divorce papers. They are apparently floating around through the postal system. It is now 8/16/24, and I still haven't received my divorce papers. The attorney and his staff have stopped responding to my repeated requests. I don't want my money back, I just want the divorce papers.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I did receive the 1 piece of paper in the mail that he uploaded to you. I did not receive the WHOLE marriage settlement. I need the SIGNED Marriage Settlement.
