    Summary: 6/15/2024 8AM ***************** for the property next door blew a rock into our driveway and hit the rear window of our classic *** convertible that we had out of the garage to pack to go on vacation. We have photos of the point of impact. The rear window shattered!The fix was not an easy fix: no one would touch the repair except a *** dealer. We were without the car for a month.Details: We were packing up our two cars to leave for vacation. We heard the landscapers servicing the property next door. I went out to put something in the car and the first thing I noticed was yard debris all over our two cars that I had just washed the day before. Next I saw the shattered window. I had been in and out of the cars that morning so I know it was the result of the landscapers. Also, we had a previous experience with our own landscaper whose worker did the same thing with blowing up a stone into our house window. (He took responsibility and we had the window replaced.) We know what this looks like based on that experience.I confronted the workers. They did not speak English, but made hand motions of not their fault.We tracked down the owner of of Marcas Pro with some effort. He talked to me over the phone in disrespectful tones which admittedly made me angry. My wife called him as well. Finally, he agreed to come over after his workday was over. The owner came by in the evening. He argued with us for about 45 minutes. After viewing the point of impact on the window and the neighbors driveway, where there were stones/cement rocks all over, he eventually agreed that he would take responsibility up to $2000. He told us to send an invoice and texted to us that he would take responsibility.We contacted him with the invoice but he didn't respond. Today, the landscapers were out there again blowing debris directly onto our vehicles. I called the owner; he hung up on me. My wife called him and told him that she would log a complaint with BBB and he said nothing.
