McGee Womens Hospital uses C&S ambulance service to transport patients to nursing home facilities. This service was selected for me in May of 2022. I did not receive a bill from them until almost a year later. I was making payments on a regular basis. I come to learn that I have overpaid them in September of 2023. I have called them 4 times (9/28/23, 10/16/23, 10/26/23, and 12/16/23) to get a refund for overpayment. I did speak to a Jennifer on 9/28/23 and she stated that she would submit a refund request for overpayment to the admin office. The subsequent calls that I made were forwarded to a voice mail. The last call I made, I stated that I was contacting the BBB if no one returned my call. As of this date, 1/5/24, I have not heard from anyone.

In response to the above complaint, please note that we were unaware of any refund needing to be processed for this party.  We do not employ anyone with the name of Jennifer at our ambulance services and this complaint is the first we are hearing of this need for refund.  Additionally, since 1982, all of our refund requests have been processed in a timely manner and this is something we take very seriously and pride ourselves on.  It may be that during these dates of service, the initial bill was processed through our previous billing company, QMC, who we are no longer employing to handle our billing and as such, when this account was overtaken  by our new billing agency, AIM, had to be brought back up to date on the requirement of the refund.  Due to current litigations with our previous billing company, receiving certain information about previously dated patient accounts has been difficult at times and  if this is the case and has had an adverse effect on this patient's account, we ask that the patient reach out to AIM billing at ###-###-#### for immediate attention to this matter, or contact our home office at ###-###-####.  Thank you in advance.
