    Contracted Schatz construction to install a 16x32' stenciled concrete patio. His first attempt to install it was in the beginning of May-2022. He had to rip out that pad due to negligence and having the concrete dry before he was able to get the stencil into the concrete. About 6 weeks later, he finally poured the replacement pad. The final product is horrendous. Craftsmanship aside, there are safety and future property damage concerns as the pad very clearly is sloped toward the home, causing pooling at the foundation of the home. After requesting a refund in June-2022, I still have not received any payment and he only agreed to pay 80% of the value. His claim is that another contractor will use the excavation work that he did. What he is failing to address is the fact that I have been quoted upwards of $5000 to rip the existing liability out. Additionally, him and his crew have effectively destroyed my yard, leaving dried concrete, piles of dye, and ripped up used stencil all over my property. The windows to our basement are still covered in dried concrete. I asked him to clean this months ago and he is not going to do so. On top of this, I have photo evidence of him and his crew leaving a giant spray painted middle finger in my yard under where they poured the patio as they didnt think I was home at the time.

    Thank you for your prompt reply. Attached please find a signed legal release from the customer. As far as we are concerned, this matter has already been resolved through our legal counsel. By filing this complaint, the customer actually breeched the agreement per paragraph 9. Please let me know what else you need from me to resolve this issue on your end. I would like to get this resolved in a timely manner.
