    I engaged Mooney's Moving company to complete a move on 3/28/2023. A Quote issued for 4 people for 6 hours at $200/hr. final cost with be adjusted according to actual hours. I also advised that there were a few pieces of furniture that was 2 doors down, and that was fine as I was told I was paying by the hour anyway. When the crew arrived, they advised that this had to be done as 2 separate moves as it would not fit in the truck. Between a rock and a hard place, I proceeded with the move. The 2nd move was quoted at 5 hours at @200/hr with total of $1000. When the move was finished, it took 2 hours. However, when I received the bill, it was for $825. (4 hours at $200 plus fuel surcharge of $25) When I said they started at 9am and finished at 11am; they said they had a minimum of 4 hours. I then emailed *******, who provided the quote originally and asked why I was charged for 4 hours when it only took 2. He responded that they had a minimum of 4 hour charge. At this point I was not happy as it it took only 2 hours; and they should have completed it as 1 move at 8 hours or just charged the actual hours of the additional 2 hours worked. At the end of the day, I was never advised that they had a 4 hour minimum and am requesting a refund of $400.00. ($200x2hrs that was never worked)

    The "few pieces" that ************** asked us to pickup turned out to be almost an entire townhome.  Had we been provided a proper job description we would have been able to provide an accurate quote with the proper number of trucks to begin with.  

    The crew was dispatched at 8am and returned at 11:45am.  There is no basis to provide a refund.
