County Line Fence installed our fence three years ago; however, they installed a gate that does not fit properly, so the gate will not close. I called them to fix the gate during our warranty period. They came out, but they did not fix the gate. Now, my warranty period is over, so they won't come back out to fix the problem. A gate should not stop working only a few years after installation.

I purchased a white privacy fence several years ago. This past summer I noticed one of the brackets holding the material to the post was broken. It took several weeks for someone to get back to me. The manager that contacted me referred me to the district manager. I explained what was going on, sent him pictures. He told me the bracket that was on my fence is no longer used and he sent me 2 new brackets, for the top and bottom. About a week later I tried to make the repair. Unfortunately, the new bracket doesn't fit and doesn't solve the problem. Since the bracket is no longer used, I wanted the company to fix the problem with no charge. To me , the old bracket doesn't hold up and isn't used anymore. He called me and said he would call me back or have a fellow coworker follow-up with me. Now he is ignoring my calls, my emails. I just want my fence fixed. He has now refused to send anyone over because I threatened him with legal action.

Customer purchased a fence that CLF installed April 2016. There is a 1-year warranty on the workmanship from CLF & a limited lifetime warranty from the manufacturer. Customer contacted CLF on 8/19/2022 for a repair estimate. Sales Rep Lynda contacted customer he sent pictures of the problem.  She quoted him a price. He was not happy with price. After speaking with manager Chris who explained we no longer carry those type of brackets, but we could send him a replacement bracket at no charge & he could replace it himself. CLF mailed the bracket.  Customer contacted us that he could not figure out how to replace he wanted someone to come out & fix.  Chris explained if we send someone out to fix it there is a service charge. We would get a contract typed up, customer needs to sign & give deposit then we can proceed.  Customer said no he wasn’t paying until it was fixed. We do not proceed without a signed contract & deposit. Customer has called daily, bullied every female in the office and continually threatened legal actions in his emails.  This fence is 6 years old it is out of warranty.  We have tried to help by sending a bracket free of charge.  Customer wants fixed for free & that is not happening.
