    In Oct 2024, we hired Mr. ** ****, owner of Radical Flooring LLC aka Radical Flooring & Renovations. He was to renovate a small bathroom shower for a total of $6,158.50; he was paid in full. After the renovation, we noted that the shower was filling and not draining as well as it had in the past. We communicate concerns with Mr. ***** Initially, he was responsive, but indicated he could not come timely to rectify the concerns. He agreed to us hiring another professional to assess the issues/provide corrections and he would cover the cost. We hired a master plumber that indicated there was a lot of demolition debris in the shower drain causing a blockage which needed accessed through the downstairs ceiling. The plumber accessed the shower area and corrected the drain issue caused by my Mr. ***** However, we had to hire a different professional to fix the ceiling where the plumber had to access the shower drains. We hired another professional who fixed the ceiling. The professionals provided descriptive receipts that included the scope of work, findings and cost of repairs. I shared the receipts and photos with Mr. ***** Initially, he was responsive and agreed to pay for the issues caused by his work. Although communication from him was delayed and inconsistent, in Jan 2025, he did pay half of the total cost of repairs and promised to pay the remainder at the end of that week. He never paid and has been unresponsive to attempts. He owed us a total of $637.00 for these necessary repairs. He paid $350.00 on Jan 27, 2025. He still owes us $287.00. He remains unresponsive to attempts to collect the remainder. Not only are we concerned about his lack of competence that contributed to these repairs, but we are also concerned that he did not follow through on the agreed upon plan for him to repay us. We are requesting he pay the remaining balance of $287.00 immediately.
