    I received very little representation from this law firm. The lawyer handling my case originally was rude and very unprofessional. He used a lot of profanity. My case was transferred to another attorney without any explanation in the middle of my case. I was pleased with how she spoke and she actually was easy to work with. However, in the course of this case I paid $7500 which is really high considering the amount of work done on my case. I did get a refund at the end of $800 so I felt good overall. I decided to hire this firm again when a motion for child support was filed against me, and I paid another $2500 retainer. The case was concluded with a three minute court appearance by my attorney. The case is over and there is $2100 left in my retainer according to the most recent bill. Deriso Law group has refused to issue a refund, I live in another state and other than this case I have no reason or need to keep Deriso on retainer.

    This case has been resolved. DeRiso has agreed to issue me a refund and even reached out to me on Saturday to address my concerns. I am pleased with the resolution and would like to close this complaint.
