    On the morning of 11/26/22 i, along w my 2 young kids in the car, went to morgans quick lube to get a routine oil change. I was going out of town that day and wanted an oil change before driving a long distance. They opened at 9 am and i pulled in the parking lot at 8:58 am, i was the first one there. 2 young guys got out of the same car backed into a corner of the parking lot which i found was odd, these were the employees on duty. I pulled my car in when they put the garage door up. This was my first time here and i found it really odd they asked no personal information about me to keep on file. I didnt say anything as i just assumed this was normal practice for this business. My oil change was very fast, i never got out of my car. I paid the bill of $77 with my debit mc and left. I went home to do some packing before going out of town and parked my car in my garage. As i was driving down the highway on my way out of town my mom calls to tell me there is oil all over my garage floor. I immediately get off the highway and find an oil change place to have this checked. They determine the kid who did my oil change put a plug in that was way too small and not the plug he took out. My car was dripping oil continuously. They had to order me a new plug from a parts store and put it in and refill it w oil as all mine leaked out. I called morgans amd the male that changed my oil told me he knew it was the wrong size but stated “his job was to change my oil and thats wat he did”. I said u let me leave there w 2 young kids in the car and u knew my car was leaking oil like that. He told me that wasnt his problem. He told me thats the oil plug i came there w which is not even possible as my last oild change was months ago and my car never leaked a drop of oil. Also Morgans did not put my plastic piece back on that protects my oil pan under my car. I was 2 hours late going out of town due to this issue. I asked when an owner or manager would be in and the male hung up on me.

    In response to complaint ********

    Customer was actually at the shop at 8:52 according to camera. The 2 "young guys" are actually late 20's. They were in their car because we weren't open yet but they got out of the car and opened the shop as soon as she pulled in. We only need your license plate to pull up all the info on the vehicles so no other information was needed from her except mileage. The skid plate was covered in oil when the tech removed it and customer was told this. Tech put the same oil plug back that customer came in with. Car was not leaking when she left the shop. If plug was the wrong size then it's possible it started leaking again when she drove away but it was not leaking when new oil was put in so tech thought it had been loose before and that the problem was corrected. We do not have extra oil plugs laying around the bays so this is not possible. We order them from the car supply store. Customer called the shop and threatened the employee and then proceeded to post on a local facebook page when I did not respond to her Facebook message after one day. When I did respond she told me it was too late and I could read the Facebook page. She never came back to the shop to talk to anyone.  She was refunded the money from her oil change and given a new skid plate since it was not put back on. Original skid plate is still at the shop still covered in oil.
