I purchased the ** Exam training for $374.25 in November 2021. The EA exam is 3 parts with each part taken in different years. The training I purchased was 'lifetime' with 'no expiration' at the time of my purchase. Recently I was unable to login to continue training for the next part of my exam. When contacted, Surgent support stated they changed the plans and that they expire now. They also stated I would have to repurchase the training if I wanted to continue. I received no notice of a change in service to my existing plan or at any time agreed to the lessor service. I requested to escalate with a manager and stated these things. The manager replied stating the plans now expire and my purchase has expired. I stated that wasnt acceptable to me, requested reinstatement or refund. There has been no further response to this request by Surgent.

Customer purchased access to EA Review Essentials which comes with 18 months of access.  It is clearly stated on the website (URL:  ************************************************************************************* ).  There are premium versions of the EA Review course (EA Review Ultimate and EA Review Premier) that come with Unlimited Course Access but this is not what the customer purchased.  I have attached a copy of the customer's receipt that details what they purchased.  Please let me know if you need anything else.

I am rejecting this response because: when I purchased, the training was not limited to 18 months; This was added/changed after purchase. I was never notified or agreed to this change. The attached receipt provided by the company does not mention any 'limitation' of time frame or otherwise to the training.

I purchased the chartered tax course from the income tax school in 2021. I paid almost $2000 for it. No where on my receipt or terms and conditions stated that I would not be able to access my course during a specific timed period. Even if the course is obsolete, they have no right to ban me for what I PAID for. In fact on my receipt many of the products state "no expiration". I told them that I did not mind paying for an extension of the course but they denied that. I was promised on in 2023 that that was never done.

I purchased a Comprehensive Tax Course with the Income Tax School which included the Individual , Small Business and Advanced Tax Courses. This weekend all of my courses disappeard including Order history and everything. I called twice and they are saying they do not know what happeded. I was about to complete the final exam of the Individual and start the Small Business. I paid close to $3,000 for the courses and they will not help me by fixing the account. I am losing out on time sensitive courses because of their delay in getting this fixed. This is not the first time I encountered this.

Customer left a voicemail with our customer support team on Sunday, April 14 (business is closed on Sundays) to report the access issue. On April 15, customer contacted via live chat as well as phone.  We set the expectation that we would have our technical support team investigate and it would likely take 48 hours to resolve.  Customer contacted us again the next day and we informed the customer that we needed the full 48 hours to address.  Issue was resolved on 4/18 and the customer's access was restored.  While it did take somewhat longer than the 48 hour expectation, we were working the issue in good faith and communicated to the customer as soon as the access was restored.
