On August 3, 2022 I went to Cindy’s Custom Framing to have my cross stitch picture framed. I gave them a deposit of $140 and they said that it would be 4-6 weeks for my job to be completed. They said they would call me when it was done. I didn’t hear from them and I called mid-September and they told me they were waiting for the frame to come in and it would be complete. Again they said they would call me when it was done. Again the did not call. I called and left a message and they still did not call me. I finally went in to their shop on Tuesday October 11th and this time she told me that they had to re-cut the matting. I asked when it would be done and she said Friday the 14th and they would call me. They didn’t call me so I called on Saturday the 15th and they had a message on their machine that they were closed that day. I then left a message stating that I just wanted my money back and my pictures since they were giving me the run around. I just went to their business today and they had a sign on the door that they were closed for a family emergency. I think that all of these reason they are giving me are false excuses for not having my project completed. It has been 2-1/2 months now and I just want my money back and my cross stitch back. I spent many hours working on that project and I feel like they couldn’t care less. Please help me!
