    ON 01/04/2023 I BROUGHT MY SON TO GREAT CLIPS I HAD A $5 OFF COUPON I PRESENTED THE COUPON BEFORE HE HAD HIS HAIRCUT I WAS ASSURED IT WILL PROBABLY GO THRU IT HAD A BAR CODE NUMBERS UNDERNEATH BAR CODE WELL AFTER HAIR CUT THEY TRIED TO PUT COUPON THRU IT WOULD NOT GO THRU SO INSTEAD OF GETTING $5 OFF I ENDED UP HAVING TO PAY FULL PRICE OF $18, I CALLED CORPERATE THEY WHERE NO HELP THEY SAID COUPON EITHER HAD TO BE MAILED TO ME OR EMAILED OR ON ******** THATS THE ONLY COUPONS THEY WOULD EXCEPT, IF THEY HAD TOLD ME THAT I PROBABLY WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE INSTEAD I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT THEY WHERE GOING TO TAKE COUPON, AND ON RECEIPOT IT SAYS YOUR COMPLETE SATISFACTION ON ALL SERVICES AND PRODUCTS IS GURANTEED SO IM REQUESTING A REFUND OF $18, BECAUSE I WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH THIS MY INVOICE # ON RECEIPT IS ******

     I contacted our corporate customer service department, which forwards any customer complaints they receive to my attention.  For some reason, I never received this complaint that ************ said he called in.  They are currently researching why this happened.  We generally respond to customer complaints within 24 hours.  So I apologize to ************ that this has not yet been resolved.

     

    The stylist who provided the customers sons service is out of work sick, and we have not yet been able to discuss this with him.  However, he is a newer employee who has not been with us very long. Based on **. ***** description of what happened, our stylist did not handle the situation correctly and we will make sure he is aware of the correct way to handle this type of issue.  ************ should have been given the discount noted on his coupon. Whenever a customer has a valid coupon that for some reason will not scan, we can still give them the discount.  We apologize to ************ for our mis-handling of this and we will refund the full price of the haircut, $18, to him.  I will mail a check tomorrow, to the address provided.  If there is anything else we can do, I can be reached at ************.  We appreciate the opportunity to explain and correct this situation.  And we hope that ************ will give us another opportunity to earn and keep his business.
