    Alarm Connections continued billing us for monitoring services when they were no longer monitoring us. We were on autopay via credit card. We were never informed about our service being terminated. I believe they were no longer servicing our area, but they did not inform us of that, and continued to bill us. In March 2024 my homeowner's insurance brought this to my attention, when they requested a certificate from Alarm Connections proving monitoring service. So in March of 2024 I called Alarm Connections requesting proof of service. The c/s **** basically exclaimed, oops and said we were not being monitored. So on 3/15/24 I spoke with supervisor ******* requesting reimbursement for the duration of us not being monitored, and she did not offer any sort of compensation. I seek reimbursement for the non-monitoring duration, and I don't know when that started. I thought we were being monitored, otherwise I would not have continued to pay. I've filed a complaint with State of CA, BSIS and Alarm Connections will not cooperate with them. Thank you for your assistance.

    I am power of attorney for *****************************. COMPLAINT 1: I called 3/11/2022 (*****), 12/28/2022 (*******), 3/6/3023 (*****/*****), 4/3/2023 (*****), 4/19/2023 (*****/*****), and 4/26/2023 (*****/*******). I have requested each time for someone to come walk us through the security/fire service that we pay for quarterly. On 4/19/2023, ***** told me that a service provider would be calling me within 2 business days. He told me where the box was in the house and I told him the system was not even plugged in. On 4/26/2023, ******* stated that they were having trouble getting someone out to Ingram, TX.  No one called to let me know. She said they were working on it and that she would call me by Friday 4/28/2023. I asked her what a reasonable amount of time to wait was. She said she didn't know because they are trying to find a contractor. I have paid $84.44 quarterly for as long as I can find bills dating back. My complaint is that we've been paying for a service that doesn't even work. And no one will respond in a timely manner to correct it. The owner is 96 years old and cannot even reach the box. Who knows how long it has been unplugged. Very frustrated that we cannot get service. I've asked for a technician each time to please come out. *****, specifically was very rude to me about getting help out here. COMPLAINT 2: are we able to seek a refund for the past year's service because it hasn't even been connected. Very frustrated with their customer service, their lack of service, and that we've been paying for a service that we don't even have. I've worked here 1 1/2 years and starting researching what exactly we were paying for. That is how it started. Thank you, and please advise.

    I am replying to the complaint filed on May 3, 2023.

    We have reached out to our local service provider to contact the customer to address any service issue they are having.

    We would have no idea how or who would have been unplugged the system or for how long, but our provider will make arrangements to come out to the location within the next 2 weeks and see what is going on with the system and get to a resolve.
