My family has received harassing texts regarding this company but with my name. I tried to contact the company and they were absolutely no help and clueless about sending text messages to relatives who are not involved. I feel like now my business is out, which is unprofessional. on 2/25 I received an email about a bill from a company and it asked for an astronomical amount. I responded with an email asking for them send chain of custody for the account, how much did they purchase the debt for. A payment history so forth and so on the next day they sent a very threatening text. I called and I explained that I am uncomfortable saying any professional information on the phone because of scams and I do not recognize nor am I familiar with them. I asked them to mail or email. Then today it seems as if they texted every ********* in *******. They even threatened my sibling who I have not seen or heard from in 30 years and even I don't know how to contact. This business is a 3rd party contractor. The orginal creditor wrote this account off 3 years ago. I don't owe this third party contractor anything. They did not confirm any information they had. They started texting my references like they were texting me. They included my full name and account number in each text. They reached out to my old number which, I no longer have. That person found me on social media and sent me a ********** said, hey this company text me your full name and account number. That is a violation of my privacy. I did not authorize the orginal creditor to sell my personal information to a third party. This third party contractor had no right to text my personal information which is my name an account number to a stranger. Now I feel like my they compromised my safety and personal information. My name is unique and not common. That's how this stranger found me on social media. This is negligence on Enterprise Recovery LLC. The solution will be for them to never contact me or anyone with my personal Information ever again. I'm going to also look into taking legal action for them violating my privacy and providing strangers my personal information.Initial Complaint

This company has called me previously looking for a ******, who I am not. They asked me to reach out to that ****** since I know them and I told them no, and to stop contacting me about the issue since its not my problem. They text me today with the ******'s name and claim number, and when I called demanding to discontinue contact with me again the first ****** was rude and would not let me speak, the second ****** hung up on me, and the third ****** would not help me unless I provided my name.Initial Complaint

This company calls people's family, their jobs, and threaten to file a lawsuit. They have compliance officer call to say to call ************ and then they say they are filing a lawsuit unless you pay. This is EXTREMELY dangerous and against the law. Yes this happened to me, i had a number call me unknown and tell me they were a compliance officer. They said i was going to have a lawsuit filed if i did not call ************. When asked who they were they said they were ********* location/verification services. I asked for a lawyers name, they did not have one. I received a text message about a claim they have against me. They told me if I didnt pay no money down for it they will take legal actions against me. I called the company they talking about and they said the amount this company told me is absolutely wrong. The comps told me they sold my claim to another company not them . On February 26, 2024, at 3:00 PM, I received a call from a company identifying as Enterprise Recovery, seeking someone named *****. Despite clarifying that I was not *****, they persisted in attempting to reach her through me, claiming it was regarding a package delivery. When I mentioned typical delivery procedures and questioned their contact method, they abruptly hung up.On March 13, 2024, at 10:45 AM, I received a text from Enterprise Recovery addressed to *****, mentioning a claim number and urging her to contact them, despite my previous clarification that I was not *****. I responded, stating that they had the wrong contact information and warning of legal action for harassment if they continued to contact me.It's evident that Enterprise Recovery is a collection agency, but I have no outstanding debts. It's frustrating and concerning to be included in someone else's collection attempts, especially after clearly stating that I am not the intended recipient. I urge action to prevent further harassment and to highlight the questionable tactics employed by such agencies.I request that appropriate action be taken to address this issue and prevent further harassment.Customer Answer

in addition to what is already stated, My 13 year old son also got a text message on his phone. My sister also got texted as well. STOP contacting us. We owe you nothing. Is it even legal for a collection agency to contact a minor?
