  Completely regret using this company/franchise. I did not receive the services I paid for. I paid over $1000 for them to LOSE my belongings in transit. They carried items out of my home and a bag never made it to the final destination. After weeks of discussion and searching for my belongings it did not turn up and I was told it is completely my loss. They only offered $100 in remediation in hopes I wouldn’t write a bad review. The company is franchised. Customer service is offshore, thus they can only help with so much. I physically had to drive to the franchise office multiple times to get responses. I used the West Chester location franchise and apparently they do not have a direct number, thus Sean was nice enough to give me his direct line. Despite this, every conversation felt forced and I was pulling his teeth for him to speak and have a productive conversation. The insurance that is part of the moving costs do not cover lost items. It is truly impossible to prove items were lost if there are no cameras at both locations. I put too much trust into this process and feel super naïve for doing so. At this point I feel like I am being hard on myself when it is truly the company’s fault for lack of service and negligence. Unfortunately this is 100% my loss, as per the franchise, and a life lesson. So take this as your life lesson, so you do not actually have to experience it.

  College Hunks damage and missing item policy is laughable. The damage created to our items and the amount of money they give you for the damage does not resolve the issue. If the surface of your wooden, dining room table has multiple deep gauges and they pay you $0.60 per pound, how does that amount allow you to purchase an entirely new table? Not to mention that a new table would not match the chairs and other furniture in the dining room set. An entire set would be acceptable. Furthermore, damage to our china cabinet and the amount they would give us would result in the same issue I've already mentioned. Additionally, the slats for the base of our king bed are missing and we had to rebuild, on our own the entire base before we could use the bed the night of the move. No reimbursement for our time and cost to purchase the materials, to make our bed useable, was provided. I do not recommend this company as damage should not have occurred and their policy is unacceptable.

  0 this was the worst move ever. He send two people one spoke some Engish the other spoke none. The whole move was a debacle. This guy kept taking things that were not for storage. This was terrible. He made appt. For day after move . Gave a credit didn't show up next day with no cancelation. Charged me another 200 for things in truck. I want this guy confronted he will not give the receipts for this nightmare. If you can't help will an attorney.

  Terrible. Tore my couch, broke my mirror, and put a hole in the ceiling. They try to rip you off by changing the price when they arrive or they quote an outrageous price range. The one guy was very aggressive in asking for a tip. Made me very uncomfortable. I called the office to report this and honestly they didn't care. If I could give zero stars, I would. Shady and unprofessional. They are not stress free. They are Stressful.

  Our move experience with College Hunks recently occurred in Columbus Ga. Never, never contract with this outfit because: The movers left a substantial amount of our possessions at the origin without informing me. Numerous items are completely missing and/or broken with no explanation. At the conclusion we were presented with a surprise price increase ( a bait and switch) . Finally the compensation for broken / missing goods is a sham $.60/ pound covers nothing) Do yourself a favor and find a different mover.

  Contracted w/ company for a move. Added on mattress removal day prior w/ Brady. Was advised the moving team would give price upon arrival. Brady did not communicate w/ moving team & they refused to take mattress due to another move. They arranged for another team member to return a few hours later to pick up mattress & quoted $140 plus mattress removal fee of $20. When team was on way they said it would be $155 + mattress removal fee. I complained & asked to speak to manager who wouldn’t call. Then team member quoted $255 per manager would give us deal of $195. Demanded call from manager who called after multi back and forth calls. Stated original price isn’t even something their prices. (It is their hourly fee listed on their contract) then said he would speak to his team member regarding his error. I asked him to honor quote of $140+$20 which he did. However, we were only being charged this price as it was fee for additional truck as if it was another new service! We would not of been charged this fee if they hadn’t made an error & would of removed mattress from the beginning. Per their team member we would of veen charged an additional $35 not $160! Called manager & left voicemail x2 and he has not returned call.
