      Had double knee replacement surgery on 10/30/23 and Premier has continued to demand payments for care when I already paid them. They have been uncooperative with me for months. They have sent over, to me in an email, medical files on another patient , that is a HIPAA violation, and after having talked with them on several occasions, from office staff all the way up to the doctor himself, about my billing issues on their end, they refused to help me. They have not returned my phone calls, but they had no problem sending me to a collection agency, even after I proved I paid them what I owed them. This has been going on for over a year. I have been battling with them for months about their terrible billing system. I have involved my insurance company. This sounds like extortion and I will not pay them again for services that were already paid for.

      On 4/24/2024, I visited Premier Orthopaedics in *********. I received a bill (statement date 06/20/2024) for $125.26. I paid the bill online at ************************. I have attached my credit card statement showing that I paid the bill in full on 06/30/2024. It was processed on 07/01/2024. According to the credit card bill, it was made payable to "Proaliance ************* *******."On July 22, 2024, Premier Orthopaedics sent me an overpayment check for $14.23. On July 30, 2024, ******* ******* from Premier called me, stating that I owed $125.26. I explained that I had paid the bill and sent her 1) a copy of my credit card statement and 2) a screen shot from the Premier Orthopaedic app showing that I had no unpaid bills. Ms. ******* then explained that I had a credit for $59.13. As Premier had already sent me a check for $14.25, Premier likely owed me $44.88.I received another bill from Premier (statement date 07/22/3024) for $125.26 for the same date of service (04/24/2024). As I had not heard back from Ms. ******** I sent her another email (which I have attached) to follow up on the billing error. She did not respond to this email either. On 7/30/2024, I received an automated call from Premier asking me to pay the balance of $125.26. I did not see any other providers on this date of service. On 8/20/2024, I received a call from an individual at Premier stating that their research showed that I had paid Proaliance Surgeons, not Premier Orthopaedics, $125.26. I tried to explain that I had simply visited the website on the bill I received, which showed the correct Acct #******** payment code ************** and amount due of $125.26. I do not control to whom the payment is dispersed. That is the error of Premier's bill paying service, not ********** I received a collection notice for $66.13 for Premier Orthopaedics' from ****************** in ********** ** (******************************), Reference # AYY352. I do not owe Premier any money!
