      On October 18th 2024 I gave *** ****** of J and D HVAC $4500,.00 as a deposit for anew furnace.He advised me at the time to expect 3 to 6 weeks for the new furnace to be delivered to my home. I waited for several more weeks and then called him. He said the delivery would now be December the 18th 2024. I had not heard from him so on December the 17thI left a voicemail to ask what time on December 18th that he would arrive.He called me on December the 18th to tell me that he had called Dunkirk the company who was to p that he would callrovide the furnace . Dunkirk advised *** ****** that The furnace had not be sent out yet. *** said that he demanded a refund but Dunkirk had 7 to 10 business days to refund the money,He told me that if the money was back in his account before he went away for Christmas vacation that he would be able to get the furnace from a business in *********** here in **. I finally got a text Juary 9th 2025 that he would call me later to see which day the next week he would have the man power to get the new furnance installed.I reached back out to him on January 13th since I had still not heard from anyone. January the 14th he text me that he had not heard from his helpersand that he had the flu, January the 17th he text that installation would have to be rescheduled again due to illness again, I text him Oh myGod do you realize that following Tuesday night the temperature was going to be minus 4 degrees?, He did come out Saturday January the 18th to restatrt my original furnace , In the meantime Ihave been using multiple space heaters in the hopes that I wouldn&#**;t have burst water pipes.

      On 7/26/24 I was provided two quotes from *** at J&D Home Services LLC. *** and his partner *** were supposed to complete electrical work and install a new air handler and heat pump. We gave a deposit of $5500 in cash to *** since he told me he couldn't accept a credit card payment on 7.26.24. He gave us a receipt for the $5500. The work was supposed to be completed several times and as of the end of September it still was not completed. He gave non stop excuses as to why he could not do the install and electrical work. At the end of September on 9/23/2024 I told *** that I wanted my $5500 refunded so we could find another contractor to do the work. I was told that he would be sending me a cancelation letter and the refund within 7-10 days. As of 10/18/24 We still do not have the cancelation letter or the refund. Our furnace is not working properly and could be a fire hazard. It is cold now and we need to be able to run our furnace without worrying that we could have a fire. I found this company on ******* and the proper steps to file a complaint have been completed with them.
