We had a deeply troubling experience regarding my son's dog, ********, at the ****************. I have a vested interest in this dog because I rescued, had him professionally trained, and brought him into my home for months with my own dog and two cats. I never had a problem with ********. On Friday, May 30th, ******** was placed in solitary confinement for over 2 hours in the morning with no social interaction aside from four minutes with a disengaged staff member. I have time-stamped pictures from the cameras as well as the video of the playtime. We attempted to speak with the *** ***** to understand why ******** had been isolated for so long. We requested camera footage to verify a response to my ****** review. Nobody spoke directly with ****, the co-owner. ******** was briefly returned to the main room, I recorded footage from the cameras showing ******** behaving happily and submissively with other dogs, directly contradicting any implication that he was a danger or unfit to socialize. After **** **** up on me, ******** disappeared from all visible camera feeds. When my son picked him up around 5:30 PM, he was informed ******** had been crated, and staff admitted they weren't sure why he was crated, and normally, dogs would not be left alone for that amount of time. Cliffored was injured with a broken nail, smelled of urine and we have no idea if he had any water. Staff were evasive and inconsistent in their explanations. This is unacceptable for a facility marketed as a "dog daycare." We have not heard anything from the owner of this facility, and we are prepared to sue the Dog Stop for negligence and breach of contract. I believe we have enough evidence to show animal cruelty/and or abuse in a civil lawsuit. Their business practices need to be inspected. None of the staff is adequately trained. They couldn't even find the paperwork my son asked for, so he could re-read it to understand what services he paid for.
