    Where do I begin. Long story short my daughter is special needs with severe anxiety at dentist visits. Our regular dentist will not see her anymore due to her severe anxiety because aren’t equipped with patience that are like her. They referred me to Casey dental but they have a 2 year waiting list just for regular dental appointments so they referred me to Smiles 4 keeps and then they told me about special care smiles. I called in June 2023 for an appointment and had her all scheduled for a visit ( welcome visit, and just to look at her nothing too invasive yet). Today 9-19-23 for a 1:30 appointment. Unfortunately due to a bomb threat at our school, our school wouldn’t let the kids out nor the parents to pick them up. When they finally let the kids out of lockdown I was running a little late to her appointment. I got to the place for 2pm. I went in with my daughter and went to the window for check-in I told them who the appointment for and the lady in the office looked at me and said “ we put you down as a no call/ no show. We won’t reschedule her and you must find another place to go.”
    Very rudely. I looked at her and said “seriously”. My daughter was on lockdown due to a bomb threat and she couldn’t leave nor I couldn’t pick her up due to the threat.
    The receptionist said “ well you didn’t call us to let us know.” I replied “ I do not have you guys on speed dial, plus that wasn’t my main concern. My main concern was the safety of my child.
    Then the rude receptionist was giving me this BS story about how busy they are and it was their policy if no one showed up but the reality was only 1 little boy and his dad that was called back when I was there. Plus I was right in front of her so obviously we wasn’t a no show.
    They receptionist was very rude to me so I was rude right back to her. They are blaming me for a “ no show” but in reality I was there but later due to the school being on lockdown which wasn’t my fault. I have no control over the school.
